In A Mindful Home, your event instructor, yoga therapist and registered psychologist, Katherine Rosenstein, will guide you through exercises, tips, meditations and talk about the importance of Mindfulness in your home; from communication and attunement with children, spouses, partners, parents, siblings, friends, students and roommates, to the relationship with yourself and why it is the most important to help create a greater peace of mind.
You’ll also learn the importance of living purposefully and being present, moment to moment, and experiencing without judgement.
Katherine will explore new cognitive strategies and coping skills for:
-Managing stress related to parenting
-Helping children manage their emotions, reduce their stress, and even develop greater empathy
-Effectively communicating and creating emotional balance with others in your household
-Understanding how to truly be with people and how to stay connected
-Attuning to the needs of others, while respectfully asking for your personal needs to be met
-Sharing space and finding your personal space
