This series will take you through an intelligent progression of meditation’s different focuses and themes, ensuring a proper explanation of each thematic technique and eventually settling into a rhythm of consistent practice. Expect to come out of this series with a working knowledge of the practices of meditation and a level of comfort making you self-sufficient to continue your meditation on your own, though group and additional study with an instructor who is always encouraged to help you stay connected.
At Instill, we teach and practice Instill Meditation, a blend of
mindfulness and present moment awareness techniques stemming from and inspired by multiple traditional sources, including Japanese Zen, Vipassana, and the teachings of leading meditation gurus in the West. However, at its core, Instill Meditation is rooted in Vedic Meditation — a mantra based practice derived from the Vedas where practices such as yoga and Ayurveda also come from. In addition, Instill Meditation incorporates energizing techniques, pranayama
breath work, as well as practices that foster greater compassion and gratitude, with a focus on healing in order to live creatively and boldly as your best self.
