For one night only,

Femmetopia is here to bring queer femmes some fucking space. Honouring the bars which were lost too soon, the few that have survived, and the ones we’ve only dreamed of existing. Come out for one night of celebration, resistance, maybe some conversation, and ultimately some sweaty dancing.

~song requests going all night with your surprise resident DJ~

This party is an extension of Maddie Alexander's Femme Wave Visual Arts project, Maddie Alexander / Dancing On My Own, a visual archive of femme*-centric queer space and community. Dancing on My Own shows at The New Gallery’s Resource Centre (Ng Towers ~ 115 2 Ave SW, Calgary) from November 14th — December 9th 2017 (open Tuesday — Saturday 11 AM — 5 PM).

** Please note this space is inclusive/inviting people of all genders, sexualities and identities. The intention of this space is to incite dialogue, not to isolate. There will be 0 tolerance for any oppressive behaviours**
