Please register using eventbrite for the following. Physican assisted dying, abortions, the morning after pill, voluntary sterilization, birth control, LGBT partner rights, and many other basic health choices may not be offered or simply blocked by some health organizations due to their covenants.
A covenant is a contract between an employer and employee that restricts the types of behaviours the employee can do. When covenants occur in public health car, they can have implications for the types of service offered to and received by the public.
How far can covenants go? How obliged are employees to follow the covenants? What are the rights that people may loose if they join with, or seek services from, an organization with specific covenants?
The questions concerning covenants are endless and will be discussed with two panels, each with a panel of presenters followed by panel and audience discussion:
