Does that one group member just get on your nerves with the way they make their graphs? Do you constantly find yourself cringing at the horrible jokes that the guy next to you in class makes? Or do you simply want to start a war with your friends while raising money for an amazing charity? WELL, WELCOME TO THE MESSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR! And while we wish we were talking about your last family reunion, we’re referring to something much less awkward and traumatic! Cue PI WEEK!
This year the ESS Pi Week Committee is ready to help you pie your friends (and profs!) in the face. All proceeds will be going to the Calgary Urban Projects Society (http://cupscalgary.com/) which helps young at-risk families overcome poverty through health, housing, and education.
The pieing will take place from March 12-16 and pies go on sale Friday, March 9 at NOON in the ENGG lounge! For $5 a pie, you can direct it to the student of your choosing provided you tell us two of their confirmed class times and prof’s name. Go to their class and watch them take a pie or two…or six...! DON’T FORGET, THIS IS IN THE NAME OF CHARITY.
If you don’t want to take that pie to the face, you can pay an additional $5 to redirect it; the price goes up by $5 for every re-direct. ADDITIONALLY, if you really are worried about taking a pie to the face, follow the link below to opt out and avoid being pied the whole week. This means that unfortunately, you also then forfeit the right to send pies to other students.

If watching people get pied isn’t enough for you and you want to be part of the team, you can join Pi Squad. FREE swag may or may not be included
