EVENT PLANING INFORMATION
As our precedence in the past years, we are celebrating the “Pakistan Day” with a plethora of vibrant colors. Recognition from the mainstream community and Pakistani community’s achievements and contributions to enhance and improve the quality of lives of Canadians, exclusive cultural performances and presentations about the significance of Pakistan Day, special shows by kids, live music and last but not least, a sumptuous style buffet dinner showcasing the Pakistani cuisine are some of the highlights of this program.
The Board of Directors of Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association of ALBERTA (PCCA-AB) cordially invites you to join us in celebrating the Pakistan Day Celebrations with the members of Pakistani Canadian Community living in ALBERTA. This event is scheduled to be held on Friday March 24, 2017 at 5:30 PM.
We will be delighted to have your presence. This would also encourage the PCCA-AB volunteers, who had been working day and night to organize this event for the community.
The PCCA-AB is committed to highlight and celebrate Canadian & Pakistani days and events for the Pakistani Canadian community to create cultural awareness on an ongoing basis and to honor the diversity of the multi ethnic fabric of Canada. PCCA-AB is humbled by the community support and takes pride in their voluntary services to make these events a huge success. Your participation will encourage the Canadians of Pakistani origin in ALBERTA and value their contributions in enhancing community capacity in this beautiful country Canada and also to keep our rituals, customs and traditions alive.
It will be our honor if you join and support us and celebrate this day with the Canadian Pakistani Community. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our grand annual event.
The Pakistani Canadian community, residing in Alberta, celebrates the Pakistan day in reminiscence of the resolution passed in All India Muslim League’s annual convention held on 23rd of March 1940 at Minto Park Lahore, Pakistan. In this resolution, Muslims of Indian subcontinent demanded Independence thus, after their relentless efforts, on August 14, 1947, an independent state “Pakistan” was created on the world map.
