Trying something new can be unsettling; signing up for a nine-week session of belly dance when you have never tried it might make you think twice.
Come out to our free introductory class and discover a new love for this dance form, meet the instructors, and have some fun!
Note: this class is designed for women, aged 17 – 65.
Registration for the class is not required, but is recommended so Jumping Camel can provide sufficient hip scarves for the class to borrow.
This class is FREE to all women who have never had a class with Jumping Camel. Ladies who are registered for the Autumn Session (starts Sep 24) are welcome to the free class; if they are continuing students accompanying a friend then a $5 fee applies.
To get the most out of your class, be prepared:
* Wear comfortable clothing – pants or shorts (no skirts), a tighter fitting top (t-shirt, tank) so you can see your movements.
* Bring a bottle of water.
* We dance in either bare feet or gymnastic slippers/ballet shoes.
* If you have your own hip scarf, please bring it. I have several for purchase ($20+ ea) as well as to borrow for the day.
* Bring your friends and family! In your registered class, you will get to know the other dancers and befriend them, but for today it is always more fun to dance next to people you know.
